Czech Supebrands Tribute Event 2022

The 10th Czech Superbrands Tribute Event, which took place September 21, 2022 at the National House in Vinohrady in Prague, was exceptional because it was a jubilee, celebrating 10 years of Superbrands in the Czech Republic. The nearly 200 guests included representatives of the awarded brands, Brand Council Members, public figures as well as branding and marketing experts. The 2022 award went to 41 brands in the Consumer Superbrands category and 17 brands were awarded the title of Business Superbrands.

The gala was hosted by actor Vladimír Polívka and Tomáš Hrnčíř aged exactly 10, just like the Superbrands programme in Czechia. The artistic experience was provided by the band Sunny Swing as well as the young and talented Šesták Brothers, who had impressed the jury of the famous America’s Got Talent competition in previous years.

Special Prizes went to the following: 

• Honorary Superbrand Award 2022: People in Need, an organisation present in 30 countries, providing humanitarian aid, supporting child education, the poorest and most vulnerable, as well as human rights activists.
• Superson Personality of the Year 2022: Actress Iva Janžurová, who has starred in over 350 films and productions. The award was accepted by yet another young person, Janžurová’s 17-year-old granddaughter.
• The Brand Council, contributing their persistent work to the Czech Superbrands programme has also received a small present and a great applause on stage.
